If you recently setup the Google Maps API key on your account and you notice the search function is not working, (ie: you can't search by zipcode or address, searching shows an error, etc...) then the issue is most likely related to not having enabled the "Places API" when setting up the Google Maps API Key.
This is a very easy fix:
- Whoever setup the API key for Google Maps will need to go to http://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library
- Once in the console, search for "Places API" and click enable.
If you have not yet setup a Google Maps API Key, you will also encounter this error and will need to set it up. You can do so by following this tutorial: https://storepoint.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003906691-Google-Maps-API-Key-Setup-Instructions-
Alternatively, you can also setup Mapbox as the mapping provider at https://storepoint.co/dashboard/map_provider
